Keywords: how we choose topics
What keywords are, how articles are created from them, and when to intervene.
Keywords: how we choose topics
Keywords are queries that people search for in search engines. The goal is to choose ones that:
- are related to what you offer,
- have meaningful intent (informational / transactional),
- can be covered by a quality article.
How keywords become articles
- We obtain a set of queries.
- We group similar queries into “clusters”.
- From each cluster an article suggestion (topic) is created.
When to intervene manually
Manual intervention is worth it when:
- the system aims too “broadly” (general topics),
- or conversely too “narrowly” (micro queries).
Then adjust topics / priorities in the plan.
