How the article plan is created
Principles of topic selection, priorities and deadlines.
How the article plan is created
The article plan is the result of a combination:
- website topics (what you sell / offer),
- relevant keywords,
- seasonality (when it makes sense),
- “funnel” coverage (informational vs. transactional queries),
- balance between quick wins and long-term topics.
What priorities mean
- High priority: topics with a good relevance / traffic chance ratio.
- Medium priority: complementary topics that support authority.
- Low priority: nice-to-have, often very specific queries.
Recommended routine
- Review suggested topics.
- Exclude irrelevant ones (or rewrite them).
- For top topics add “what exactly should the article say”.
- Set publishing (manual / automatic).
When to adjust the plan
The plan is a living document. Adjust it whenever:
- you change your offering (new services / products),
- you want to target a different group of queries,
- the season changes (e.g. “Christmas gifts”).
